KiKi View Campsite Off Road Experience in the Grampians
If you have ever dreamed of sleeping under a canopy of stars, then this is a non-negotiable experience. It is a 23km journey off the Western Highway near Halls Gap, but the ten-minute detour is worth the adventure. Enter the Grampians and either camp at one of the $15 camp sites at Plantation Campground on Mount Zero Road or be brave and test your off-road caravan abilities on the intermediate 4WD Wallaby Rocks Track to the breathtaking KiKi View Campsite. Camp above the clouds near the rockface and marvel at the clear blue sky, the mountain top view of the Grampians and sleep under uninterrupted views of the stars. Go for a hike and view 40-foot waterfalls and unique Aboriginal rock sites. Off-road caravans can take on the Wallaby Roads track if they are narrow and no more than 13 feet long in dry weather. Check the Grampians National Parks Road Report, as weather conditions can change the rating.
