A former economist for Australia's Federal Treasury, Mr. Weemaes brings over two decades of experience advising clients on complex commercial litigation, shareholder disputes, and regulatory investigations.

Specializing in applying economic and managerial accounting frameworks to issues arising in litigation, Mr. Weemaes has consulted on a wide range of matters, from large-scale shareholder litigations and class actions to M&A investigations and contractual disputes. His clients have included Australian and US state and federal government agencies, lawyers, nonprofits, multilateral organizations, and corporations.

His expertise extends to cost allocation and estimation, but-for cost and profit estimates, excessive fees and predatory pricing, causation and economic damages analyses, financial forensic analysis, and data analytics.

He began his career as a Trade Specialist at Australia's Department of Foreign Affairs and Economic Analyst for the Federal Treasury.
